Volunteer Form

How can you help? There are many opportunities for you to offer your help to the Detroit Retrouvaille Community. Please review the Volunteer Form attached for ideas.or Here is a list of some ideas. Talk and pray about it together and then let us know what you'd like to help with. The benefits are multiplied when we discover that helping others also helps us to improve our own marriage.

PRAYER COUPLE Write letters of encouragement to couples attending the weekends and remember to pray for them throughout the entire program.

TELL MY CHURCH Tell your Pastor about Retrouvaille so he can share the information with other hurting couples. Ask your church to include Retrouvaille in the bulletin. Ask us for a bulletin announcement.

PULPIT ANNOUNCEMENT Write and share a Retrouvaille Pulpit announcement at your church.

10/10 TEAM Visit and deliver 10 Retrouvaille brochures to 10 churches, therapists, attorneys, etc. annually.

MUSIC MINISTER Provide music for the weekend mass. (Instrumental, vocal)

FRIDAY NIGHT GREETER Greet the arriving couples on Friday night at the facility. Assist Registration Couple as needed.

WEEKEND ANGEL COUPLE Attend a Retrouvaille weekend to do the necessary set-up, clean-up and material preparation between presentations. This is to help the presenting teams to focus on sharing their presentation without worrying about the program’s administrative details.

POST SESSION ANGEL COUPLE Helping with set up and take down at the arranged site for one or more Post Sessions, staying through the Post Session to help the presenters with anything needed.

WEEKEND or POST SESSION PRESENTING COUPLE This is an area where all presenting couples said they received the most healing. Writing and sharing your story with others is an important way to keep our Retrouvaille Community growing. We will call you with information and requirements to help you decide.

TECHNOLOGY - WEBSITE / SOCIAL MEDIA I have an interest and/or experience and would be willing to offer my assistance in this area.

SHARE YOUR STORY AT CORE Write your story to the Retrouvaille Challenge-Personal Introduction. Then volunteer to share your story at an upcoming CORE meeting. Someone will call to schedule. (Even if you decide not to share with others, writing your own story using this outline may provide an opportunity for continued growth.)
